The Data Futures Partnership Working Group is a small group of influential people who will lead the Data Futures Partnership to develop innovative solutions to data-use problems in New Zealand. The establishment of the Partnership was agreed by Cabinet in July 2015.
This paper sought Cabinet approval for appointing the members of the Working Group. It was prepared by Statistics NZ, signed by the Ministers of Finance and Statistics on 17 September 2015, considered by the Appointments and Honours Committee on 22 September 2015, and approved by Cabinet on 28 September 2015. The Ministers of Finance and Statistics named the members of the group on 17 October 2015.
This paper was proactively released on 7 December 2015.
