The EOTE feasibility study will explore integrating data on tertiary enrolments and completions with the Linked Employer-Employee Data (LEED), in order to test whether the following objectives can be met:
- provide official statistics and research outputs on the employment outcomes for people who undertake tertiary education and training;
- produce new and improved official statistics on human capital, productivity and economic performance;
- produce research on the ways in which the tertiary education system and the labour market interact, leading to a better understanding of what employers value from the tertiary education system; and
- assist government decisions on investment in tertiary education.
