New Zealand Childcare Survey – information releases

This one-off release provides information about the use of formal and informal childcare arrangements, and the relationship between childcare, work, and study arrangements.

Statistics New Zealand discovered an error with the way population benchmarks were applied for the New Zealand Childcare Survey. This has affected all estimates published on 4 October 2010. We released revised estimates in an updated information release commentary, tables, and media release on 17 December 2010.
