Contact us if you:
- can't find the information you need
- need help completing a survey questionnaire
- have a question about a survey
- need to change the date and/or time of your appointment with an interviewer.
If you have any issues with participating in a survey that are not resolved through our Contact Centre, the Respondent Advocate may be able to help you.
Got your reference number handy?
Your reference number, if we've given you one, will be printed near the top of each letter we send to you. If you have a reference number, please quote it when you contact us so we can quickly identify you.

If you leave us a message we will try to return your call by the next working day.
Monday to Friday: 8am to 4:30pm
The Household Labour Force Survey (HLFS) has extended hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8am to 9pm
Friday: 8am to 4:30pm
Sunday: 10am to 6pm
Our offices are closed on public holidays.
