In December 2011 compared with November 2011:
- Food prices rose 0.2 percent.
- Fruit and vegetable prices rose 2.5 percent.
- Meat, poultry, and fish prices rose 1.2 percent.
- Restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices rose 0.2 percent.
- Grocery food prices fell 0.2 percent.
- Non-alcoholic beverage prices fell 2.5 percent.
From December 2010 to December 2011:
- Food prices increased 2.9 percent.
