In February 2009 compared with January 2009:
- Food prices rose 0.2 percent.
- Non-alcoholic beverage prices rose 1.7 percent.
- Meat, poultry and fish prices rose 0.8 percent.
- Restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices rose 0.5 percent.
- Grocery food prices rose 0.3 percent.
- Fruit and vegetable prices fell 2.6 percent.
From February 2008 to February 2009: - Food prices increased 8.8 percent.
