Activity Classification for the Time Use Survey

The statistical standard for the Activity Classification for the Time Use Survey (ACTUS) can be used in conjunction with the statistical standard for non-profit organisations.

International

Many countries conduct time use surveys and most use their own unique activity classification. Of particular importance to the ACTUS are the following international classifications:

• Australian Bureau of Statistics Time Use Activity Classification
• American Time Use Survey Activity Classification
• Harmonised European Time Use Survey Activity Classification
• Trial International Classification of Activities for Time-Use Statistics (ICATUS)
